  • The Long Weekend....

Somehow I have a feeling its going to be.... dearest husband of mine is as I type on way back from pub, supposedly a 'work thing' having sunk 6 pints of guinness :**: and 'accidental' (yeah my arse! ) glass of wine washed down and hopefully not up with a very tasteful kebab! He was giggling like a two year old when he phoned!

Hes kipping in spare room tonite as theres no way I'm putting up with 6 pints worth of farts, sorry but no!!!

Writing this down can i just point out he is actually 45 and not in his late teens! Do they ever progress from teens or is it just regress back to that age.
He tells me in all seriousness that his knob/willy/cock/organ or any other term you care to use :) is still age 16!!!! wtf!!!!!!

So that why i think its gonna be a long weekend but kinda not in the way I was hoping.
Sweeps tomorrow then with or without his hangover!!! :>>
Wait til he sobers up and reads this in the morning....snigger!! :>>

  • Auf Wiedersehen!

'Avent blogged in ages but i'm sure 'Bloke' has kept peeps entertained on his!
Anyway, my two girlies have had a week with 2 german students who came to stay in da 'big blue house' with us. They are leaving in the morning and I know the youngest will be blubbing...tonite it got very noisy, squealy and girly in the basement! :)
They all made up a dance routine which we videoed and we have got lots of posed silly photos of them all. Addresses and msn's have been swapped. ;D
Suffice to say we like this student lark so far....well we've certainly enjoyed having these two anyway!
My eldest daughter was overheard inviting them to stay anytime they liked!! :D
I hope they havent got much to do tomorrow as its nearly midnight and they have only just gone to bed.....probably means I've got a lovely day tomorrow with the grumpy twins too!

Auf Wiedersehen Marion and Lea

  • My son has got big feet!!

Hes been pulling his shoes, particularly the left one, off his feet all week. Decided that enough was enough and that we would be better off taking him to clarks for some shoes that will probably fit and therefore last longer, he went in with size 6 shoes, came out with size 7!! width fitting G 88| Hes only 1 and a half, he'll have bigger feet than his 10 year old sister at this rate!! :D

  • Hmmmmmm

Well no point on writing about my hen night as himself had a pic on net within minutes of me getting home on sat!

Am fed up and stressed and irritable all rolled into one and have suggested we get a cleaner! :D

It seems i am only one capable of cleaning bath/shower/toilets/kitchen floor etc...and the only bits of the house that i dont have to hoover are the bits the girls do once a week which still leaves untold un hoovered house!
I do the washing and the ironing (when i can be arsed!) and look after Ben and the other kids and work!
dont think its too much to ask...do you?

  • Stressed......

So its less than a month to oz and although am not panicking as such its getting more than a little stressy in the house right now.
We've got stroppy kids who want to go but fail to see why the dress fitting/clothes shopping should disrupt their oh so important social lives!....if they cant cope now then how they gonna manage when we away for a month

We still have untold to organise and not enough time to do it and its muggins here that has to do all the washing ironing etc to get all the clothes sorted.

A cup of tea arriving without asking for it 6 times would be nice....yeah right!

  • Who's next??

So now 'himself' seems to be getting better my eldest daughter is ill and has been up all night in the loo, we were down to our last toilet roll!!

  • Give me strength..

I hate it when blokes are ill...i hate it even more when they expect you to clear up after them when they ill >:(

  • Its a Gemini thing!..

Following on from 'boys that go bump in the night'...Ben seemed to be doing fine and I was confident he was on the up that i got up thursday morning intending to go to work....hmm...er no....gave him his morning milk and it bounced 10 mins later. Phoned hospital as he was still on his 'keep an eye on him for next 72 hours' after the fall, they wanted him back in. Shorted version we spent all day on the assesment ward with Ben being sick again after nurse gave him 2 biscuits and milk. They couldnt say for sure if it was a bug or connected to the head injury so they kept him (and me) in overnight. Ben was fine and slept from 7pm til 6am, i had no sleep at all, in fact i'm sure i had more sleep on the maternity ward after he was born.

Was laying awake thinking about the last time i had stayed over night on a kiddies ward. It was with my youngest daughter whos now 10. In fact when i actually thought about it she was the exact same age. They are both geminis and their birthdays are less than 2 weeks apart. When she was Bens age we had arranged to go down to exeter to stay with my sister who was at uni down there-it was half term week.

My daughter was having breathing probs which turned out to be croup and we spent 3 nights there with her on a nebuliser every 2 hours, needless to say we never made it to exeter!
Allowing for the birth dates and that they were both admitted on a thursday (we were going to exeter fot the weekend on the friday!) it works out that they were the exact same age! :>>

    Too weird!

  • Boys that go bump in the night...

Chunky boy had a little bit of an adventure monday night, he fell out of his cot just as we were going to bed. No idea how he managed it, my girls climbed out but hes the first to fall!
We picked him up and checked him over and he seemed fine however in the morning we discovered he'd been sick so it was a quick dash to A&E to check he wasnt concussed!
Ok, so i said quick, what i meant was nearly 6 hours later we got home! They checked him over and kept him on a kiddies observation ward, hes not quite right but hes better than he was, oh and he does a nice line in floor decoration... the A&E waiting room floor to be exact... ;)

  • Up norf!

Been up in sunderland since wednesday, to see blokes dad and step mum. I had the joyous task of taking all 5 up there on the train, as i mentioned previously!
I like going up to see them, his dad is a bit of an old bugger but he has a good sense of humour and the kids all get on great with him!
Blokies step-mum is nice but after a couple of days it usually feels like we have out stayed our welcome as she is always saying how tiring it is when we there and she does tend to follow us round with a hoover as well as making us feel guilty for any tiny bit of mess we make.
Blokes dad on the other hand couldnt give two hoots about the mess and i guess thats where bloke gets his messy ways from! :)
